DEFINITION:

It is a calcium nitrate salt based set accelerator concrete additive that accelerates the setting between cement and water, allowing the concrete to set earlier and protect it from frost, and increasing early strength.

AREAS OF USE:

  • In concretes where early strength is required,
  • To prevent concrete from freezing in cold weather,
  • In reinforced or unreinforced concrete,
  • It is used in other cements except aluminate cement.

CONSUMPTION:

It is used at a rate of 1.0-2.5% of the cement weight. (For example, 1.0-2.5 kg of additive should be added for 100 kg of cement). To accelerate the setting in very cold weather, it is used at a rate of 5% of the cement weight. (For example, 5.0 kg of additive should be added for 100 kg of cement).
