DEFINITION:
It is a concrete and mortar additive that provides waterproofing without changing the setting time.
AREAS OF USE AND FEATURES:
- In foundations and retaining walls,
- In elevator pits,
- In swimming pools,
- In underground car parks,
- In water tanks and water pools,
- It is used in tunnels and structures where water impermeability is required.
- It is ready to use and economical.
- It makes the concrete impermeable to very high water pressure (14 bar) from both positive and negative sides.
- After completing its cure, it closes cracks up to 0.4 mm with its crystallization effect.
- It provides impermeability by filling the capillary gaps and pores in the concrete.
- M-1 waterproofing mortar additive does not affect the setting time in the mortar .
CONSUMPTION:
- It is added at a maximum rate of 2% of the cement amount in mortar and concrete.
- It is not suitable to perform waterproofing with M-1 WATERPROOFING MORTAR ADDITIVE in concretes with a water/cement ratio (W/C) > 0.55.
